The “DACOR” barstool designed by Swiss product designer Daniel Korb enables comfortable seating at bars, counters or stand up tables. Just like the armchairs of this modular series, the barstool can also be ordered in several colors and shapes – depending on taste and needs. The barstool also arrives flatly packed in a slim box for a self-assembly, which couldn’t be easier.

DANIEL KORB

Just like many leading persons in modern furniture design, Daniel Korb started his career as an architect. In Baden/Switzerland, Korb and his wife, architect Susan D. Korb, lead the studio Korb + Korb, which was founded in 1989 by both. Their activities include design, architecture, interior design as well as communication design. A network of specialists is integrated into the studio.

Numerous products have been awarded, e.g. with the Red Dot Award, the iF China award, the Good Design Award, the Austrian State Prize for Design as well as with the Australian Design Award. Besides the cooperation with Hiller, Daniel Korb also works as a furniture designer for brands like Herman Miller, Haworth, ofs brands, Kimball and xchange.

Daniel Korb’s design expertise has been constantly expanding and refined. Today, he stands for systems thinking and a holistic view.
